Abstract
A significant category of persons requiring an inclusive approach in the educational process are persons with disabilities. The "disability" of the population of Ukraine over the past two years since the beginning of the war has very high rates and becomes critically problematic for society. However, 70-80% of people with disabilities are capable of working on par with others because most do not have any external signs of disability, and in 53% of cases, people with disabilities can work in regular jobs. It is also worth noting that the war in Ukraine, and before that, the COVID restrictions, somewhat changed labor legislation. Remote and distance work, as well as some other innovations, have made labor relations significantly more flexible and opened up new opportunities for employment for people with disabilities. As for adolescents with disabilities, who are also potential students of vocational (technical) education, in Ukraine in 2021, there were 36,092 such individuals. The level of disability among 15-17-year-olds in 2022 compared to 2015 increased for diseases of the digestive system by 35.5% and endocrine disorders and eating disorders by 35.3%. Therefore, today, ensuring inclusive vocational (technical) education should remain one of the priorities of reforms in our country. The latter, in turn, should quickly respond to the realities of war and delve deeper into the problems of inclusive education, taking into account the acquired experience and timely response to them.
