Abstract

The article is devoted to the importance of environmental values ​​in the structure of environmental competence of an individual and the process of decision-making in favor of the environment, the dependence of environmental decision-making on the place of environmental values ​​in the value hierarchy. The need to activate value aspects in the formation of environmental competence for a safe future has been demonstrated.
