Abstract

Conceptual approaches to the development and use of diagnostic tools for assessing learning losses of secondary school students in domestic and foreign experience are summarized. Their characteristic features are defined. A comprehensive approach to the study of learning losses of high school students using modern digital technologies is proposed, which is revealed both in the simultaneous survey of different regions, various types of general secondary education institutions, all classes of high school students from 5 to 9 grades, and in the survey of school principals , teachers of various subjects (and not only basic subjects), students and their parents. The main characteristics of the developed diagnostic tools are briefly described.
