Abstract

The working curriculum "Competency-based Approach to Planning and Organizing Vocational and Practical Training" is conditioned by the further development of the theory and practice of vocational education based on the competency-based approach, and by the practical significance of the fields of pedagogical science—didactics and methods in organizing the educational and production process of vocational education institutions. It is necessary to consider the international standards and practices of vocational training in the professional activities of vocational training masters and teachers of professional theoretical training, as well as the principles of organization and methodology of vocational education according to the current and future needs of the labor market. This curriculum emphasizes the mastery of didactics, a component of pedagogy that investigates the laws, principles, and means of teaching.
