Abstract

The article presents the theoretical justification of the author's typology of models of socio-economic behavior of citizens, aimed at solving the task of forecasting its dynamics. The most common types of models of economic behavior ("homo economicus", "homo sociologicus", "homo psychologicus") have been analyzed. Their fundamental provisions are determined and limitations caused by the difficulty of operationalizing indicators and the complexity of developing tools for empirical data collection are shown. Given the fact that in conditions of social upheavals, behavioral activities are oriented towards survival or development, guidelines and practices specific to each of the types of behavioral strategies are singled out. A hypothesis was put forward, according to which the vector of changes in economic behavior depends on the ratio of these strategies in the behavioral activities of citizens. Isolated representations of behavioral strategies form a space of values with coordinates corresponding to two dimensions of economic choice: subjectivity and rationality. At the intersection of these dimensions, four basic models of economic behavior are defined, conventionally defined as: innovative-partnership (plane of rational subjectivity), moderate-progressive (plane of rational objectivity), active-adaptive (plane of subject irrationality) and protest- traditionalist (plane of irrational objectivity). The advantages of the proposed typology can be seen in the fact that it: a) is focused on the study of economic behavior in the state of emergency, b) describes it in different planes (economic, sociological, psychological), c) the selected indicators can be used in creating a toolkit for a set of empirical data and construction of predictive models.
