Abstract

The article reveals the importance of pedagogical biography (life and activity, Ukrainian teachers’ creative output) of the Ukrainian Revolution (1917–1921) for the national-patriotic education of children and youth. It has been argued that biographical narratives about outstanding Ukrainians, whom the totalitarian soviet system deliberately removed from the humanitarian space, should be popularized as widely as possible in the educational space and in the Ukrainian society in general, with the aim of reconstructing historical memory and consolidating Ukrainian society.
