Abstract

The peculiarities of the reading activity of modern 3rd-4th grade students under the influence of their active and long-term interaction with electronic resources are revealed. Groups of children-readers are distinguished according to the level of their attitude towards books and reading: a) children who practically do not read in their free time from school (except for reading related to homework); b) children who read little (not systematically, from time to time); c) children are active readers. The trends of schoolchildren's reading interests in wartime conditions are substantiated; Emphasis is placed on activating schoolchildren to read from the screen.
