Abstract
The study guide is designed to help teachers of vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions in the context of the specifics of organizing their professional activities in the context of reforming the sector. The textbook presents the main sections of the theory and practice of adult education, topical issues of the theory of education under martial law, considers ways and means of teaching adults in non-formal and informal education that correspond to the age, social and professional status of adults. The manual is addressed to: researchers, higher education students, teachers of VET institutions, andragogues of formal, non-formal and informal adult education, scientists, anyone who teaches adults or helps to teach and is interested in adult education. The study guide "Professional Development of a Teacher of a Vocational (Vocational and Technical) Education Institution" is part of the structure of the comprehensive methodological support for module 2 "Pedagogical Management and Psychology of Professional Activity. Fundamentals of Andragogy" at the advanced training courses at the Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education. The materials of the publication will be useful for pedagogical staff of VET institutions and anyone interested in adult education, as well as improving the quality of the educational process in VET institutions through lifelong learning.
