Abstract

The article carries out a theoretical and methodological analysis of innovative methods and technologies in the formation of environmental competence among high school students. The importance of a conscious attitude to the environment and finding a balance between the needs of modern society and environmental protection is noted. It was found that the effectiveness of modern environmental education depends on the correct choice of methods and technologies, including interactive methods, projects, multimedia and game approaches. The use of these innovations contributes to an interesting and exciting educational process, the development of creative thinking, the formation of competent personalities of students and the increase of their level of environmental competence. It has been established that project activity is one of the promising components of the educational process, because it creates conditions for creative self-development and self-realization of students, forms life competencies in them, in particular: multicultural, speech, informational, political and social. Thanks to innovative methods and technologies, teachers will be able to stimulate students' interest in ecology and contribute to the formation of their environmental competence. The use of case-study technology in the educational process will help students develop an understanding of environmental problems and the ability to find effective solutions to solve them. The use of networking enables learners to open up, express themselves, interact with others and effectively create outside of stereotyped thinking. The workshop ensures the training of the participants thanks to their own practice and activity, with a minor role of theoretical knowledge. Gamification technology ensures high educational activity in students. Excursions and field research will allow you to gain practical knowledge about the diversity of natural ecosystems and get acquainted with ecological restoration technologies. Role-playing games will help students feel part of nature and increase their understanding of the importance of preserving the environment. Methodological recommendations have been developed using the identified innovative methods and technologies in the formation of environmental competence in high school students. It is concluded that the use of innovative methods and technologies for the formation of environmental competence among senior students contribute not only to the development of environmental awareness, but also stimulate students to actively participate in environmental protection.
