Abstract

The study guide is devoted to the analysis of psychological diagnostics and psychological support of individuals during the war. The theoretical foundations of the study of personality psychology in the conditions of war are characterized, the concepts of stress and psychological crises are highlighted; the typology of the consequences of the impact of war on the psychological state of the individual is outlined, as well as the resources of the individual in the conditions of extreme situations are defined; means of psychodiagnosis in the practice of a crisis psychologist, in particular a psychologist who works with palliative clients, including military personnel who have suffered serious injuries, are presented; the important role of social support and the ways of its actualization in crisis situations are determined, the directions of psychological help in experiencing grief and loss are outlined, the means of psychological support in palliative care are analyzed, the possibilities of using and writing social stories in the context of psychological help for children are characterized. The study guide will be useful for psychologists, teachers, social workers, psychotherapists, and anyone interested in psychological counseling of children and adults in war conditions.
