Abstract

All Ukrainians are now living in a special reality, faced with many challenges that they have to respond to on a daily basis. Not every adult was ready for this. And children suffer the most: they have no experience of overcoming adversity, they do not have enough personal resources to do so. And it is creativity that can help a child cope with the consequences of the events they have experienced. Creativity determines the ability to solve new problems, navigate new conditions, overcome various difficulties, creativity awakens and stimulates the development of interests, as it is always associated with the discovery of new things, finding something unknown before. Creativity is an attempt to go beyond existing knowledge, to overcome one's own limits. In times of war, art therapy is the most adequate method of helping a person. And this is especially true for helping children as the most vulnerable category of clients. A child is a person who is going through the time of his or her childhood. And in times of war, they need help in their development.
