Abstract

Partial results of the All-Ukrainian survey within the experiment "Standartization of the cross-cutting socio-psychological model of mass introduction of media education in domestic pedagogical practice" are presented. Students from 207 educational institutions – participants of the experiment – from all regions of Ukraine took part in the survey (answers of about 1500 students were taken into account). An increase in the level of media creativity was discovered (compared to the results of 2018’s survey). Significant correlations between the subscales of the scale "Level of media creativity" and answers to questions about creative media practices were found. We relate the increase in media creativity with the forced isolation of adolescents during the coronavirus pandemic. It has been suggested that decreasing adolescents' self-assessment of their own level of media creativity is associated with an increasing need for media creativity.
