Abstract

The monograph is devoted to theoretical and methodological principles affirmation of Ukrainian national and civil identity. On based on the analysis of scientific literature, the concept of "national identity", "civic identity", the main challenges are revealed, essence, moral values, psycho-pedagogical features of formation national and civic identity in children and school youth. The main directions of the formation of the Ukrainian national and civic identity. Myths, post-folklore and modern are revealed heroic epic Forms and methods of education are presented. Monograph recommended for scientists, teachers, students of higher institutions of pedagogical education, pedagogical workers of educational institutions.
