Abstract
One of the directions of PPP is the study of the needs of employers in updating the nomenclature of specialized professions. The latest studies of the Public Association testify to the urgent need of small and medium-sized enterprises of light industry in the new consolidated profession "Master of tailoring of clothes", which will include the labor functions of such "mono-professions" as: "Seamstress", "Tailor" and "Tailor". public-private partnership initiatives are aimed at minimizing the kind of "lag" of professional training from the practice of professional activities of domestic and foreign enterprises and the popularization of professions in the field of light industry. That is why, in the conditions of public-private partnership, the issue of the quality of professional training of specialists should move into the plane of concrete actions to define and create pedagogical conditions for such professional training that would satisfy the needs of education seekers and potential employers for them.
