Abstract

The post-war reconstruction of Ukraine requires significant efforts and resources to rebuild the infrastructure, economy and social institutions. In this context, special attention is paid to the role of skilled workers, who are critical to the successful implementation of recovery programs. This topic explores several key aspects that highlight the importance of skilled workers in the post-war period. First, the current state of the labor market in Ukraine is analyzed, in particular the shortage of qualified personnel in construction, engineering, medicine and other critical industries. Secondly, training and retraining programs aimed at ensuring the necessary level of qualification of workers are considered. Thirdly, the opportunities and challenges of integrating returning refugees and veterans into the labor market are explored.
