Abstract

The Department of Psychology of Political Behavior of Youth of the Institute for Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, together with the Department of Social Psychology, conducted a web quest “Cultural Codes of the Nation in the Musical Work of Ukrainian Artists” for students of the Pavlo Chubynsky Academy of Arts within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Prominent Figures of Ukrainian Musical Art in the Processes of National and Cultural development of Ukraine". Interactive tools and methods of group discussion were used to activate the national-patriotic attitudes of the youth. The practical session was held on April 15, 2024 by Iryna Ostapenko, Head of the Department of Psychology of the Political Behavior of the youth, and by Oleg Sosniuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology. During the web quest, the students learned about the cultural codes of the nation and created word cloud presentations reflecting their vision of Ukrainian symbols, values and Ukrainian character using Mentimeter interactive tools. The participants of the web quest found the cultural codes of the nation in the songs of modern Ukrainian artists and created the corresponding ratings of these songs.
