Abstract

The article deals with the issues of forming the content of historical education in specialized education. The author identifies the problems of developing historical content, including: the principles of content selection in the conditions of limited time for their study in the basic curriculum, establishing the chronological framework of individual historical courses, especially the material related to the study of modernity, the possibility of developing integrated courses of national and world history.
