Abstract

In the Ukrainian market of educational services for the professional development of psychological and pedagogical workers, art therapy training programs are perhaps in the first place. The market is oversaturated with a variety of courses whose teachers promise to help you master a new specialty in a few hours or to provide a certificate with the right to teach art therapy - an “art therapist-trainer”. Many “specialists” teach art therapy online in the form of webinars or distance courses, and the Ukrainian segment of YouTube is full of recordings of art therapy seminars. Almost every university now includes art therapy in the curriculum of psychology departments. So, the question arises: if things are going so well, why do we need to raise this topic? Consumers are satisfied, professionals have jobs... But not everything is as it seems.
