Abstract
The research is aimed at studying the practical experience of Ukrainian and foreign scientists while shaping learning autonomy among students of general secondary education institutions in the English language classroom through the use of innovative teaching methods. The authors highlight the peculiarities of applying the scaffolding method to the shaping learning autonomy among students of general secondary education institutions in the English language classroom.
