Abstract

According to the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), the Global Standards for Medical Education are part of the Trilogy of Global Standards that regulate the quality of medical education. In turn, the world standards of medical education are divided into medical education with minimum requirements (bachelor's degree), postgraduate medical education (master's and postgraduate studies) and continuous professional development. These requirements also apply to the accreditation of medical/pharmaceutical specialties in the countries of the European Union (EU). Directive 2005/36/EC dated 07.09.2005 of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union and in conjunction with Annex V and introduced by Directive 2013/55/EC establish minimum requirements for professionals in the medical and pharmaceutical industry and regulate the procedure for mutual recognition of diplomas. Therefore, the issue of effective methods of solving the implementation of a single cycle of medical and pharmaceutical education in one university in accordance with the Trilogy of Global Standards becomes relevant. It has been found that in order to ensure the quality of educational services and the objectivity of evaluation of educational programs by content, mapping (analysis of educational programs by content) is carried out in EU countries, which are of fundamental importance for the correct integration and planning of the medical/pharmaceutical program. It was determined that special attention is paid to interprofessional education. Thus, the preparation of pharmacists for integration into medical conditions includes the formulation of a vision, the development and sequence of a number of educational activities, including clinical ones, as well as the use of methods for assessing the possession of individual pharmaceutical education students of interprofessional competencies. No less important is the training of professors and teaching staff, namely training in the use of modern technologies and the use of the latest teaching methods. The need for analysis (mapping) of existing educational programs of medical/pharmaceutical education, implementation of the use of modern IT technologies and teaching methods in the educational process, appropriate training and motivation of professors and teaching staff, inter-professional education for further interaction of pharmacists and doctors, continuous assessment of the quality of educational programs and their review in accordance with the requirements of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education and taking into account proposals from stakeholders.
