Abstract

The article considers the problem of professional training of a social worker in general and their preparation for fundraising activities in particular, in conditions of limited resources. The author reveals the following notions: fundraising, competence, fundraising competency, fundraising activity. The article considers the following main components of the fundraising competence structure of a social worker: cognitive component and activity component. The analysis of the fundraising competence structure of a social worker allowed distinguishing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for the successful involvement of resources. The article also presents the content of the discipline: «Fundraising in the social sphere», the purpose of which is to form a fundraising competence in students, majoring in social work.
