Abstract
Teaching physics in secondary educational institutions of Ukraine is an important component of the general educational and professional training of young people in the conditions of continuous education, which provides ample opportunities for intellectual personality development, acquiring skills to identify cause-and-effect relationships between facts, events and phenomena. In other words, the process of teaching physics in primary school should be based on the methodological apparatus of interdisciplinary connections with the aim of forming interdisciplinary competence - the student's ability to apply knowledge, abilities, skills, methods of activity and attitudes that belong to a certain range of educational subjects and educational fields in relation to an interdisciplinary range of problems.
