Abstract
The publication is devoted to the issue of the formation of mathematical competence of students in the study of the syntax of the Ukrainian language in basic secondary school. The system of developed tasks makes it possible to successfully overcome educational losses through the intensifciation of syntax learning. The study of syntax based on systemic and competence approaches is substantiated, which makes it possible to learn syntactic derivatives in their systemic relationships, on the one hand, to be able to model constructions (in any discourse) within the derivational chain according to formal-grammatical and structural semantic schemes. The systemic interrelationships of a simple sentence complicated by adverbial and adverbial infections are considered. Working with linguistic material focuses on updating knowledge about special forms of the verb – adverb and adverb, the rules of their formation – which allows to form groups of adverbs and adverbs according to the scheme, to explain the complicating semi predicative component from the standpoint of pragmatic instruction, implementation of cause and-effect relationships. The application of the text-centric principle focuses on the text in the aspect of studying the peculiarities of the functioning of syntactic units depending on the stylistic and genre classification, on the one hand, obtaining new information, on the other. Media texts are a considerable resource in the development of pragmatic literacy and social intelligence, on the one hand, artistic texts in the development of emotional intelligence and increasing the culture of artistic perception, on the other hand, since the development of the ability to express oneself using artistic means, generally metaphorical units, proves the formation of figurative thinking, related to the ability to perform mental operations in the transformation of semantic shifts in the structure of language units. In addition, in the conditions of educational losses, modern schoolboys and schoolgirls, due to objective factors, testify to a reduced level of reading culture compared to that demonstrated by their peers before the Covid pandemic, the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine (forced relocation, intermittent lack of Internet, which makes access to online resources). Working with an artistic text not only contributes to the development of reading culture, but also the ability to develop an opinion on this or that issue, referring to the linguistic and cultural experience of the Ukrainian people, as well as to be able to carry out the hermeneutics of works of art (fiction, visual arts, music, choreography, cinematography, etc.). A work of art defines a system of value orientations, which determine the level of formation of a harmonious personality.
