Abstract

The leading natural science ideas, which are implemented in the process of competence-oriented teaching of chemistry, are allocated. The contribution of the academic subject (as a component of the natural sciences) to the implementation of these ideas in the process of formation of natural science competence on the basis of integration and interdisciplinarity is disclosed.
