Abstract

The abstracts present such a characteristic of the general secondary education system in the country as the number of students per teacher in a general secondary education institution. A comparative analysis of this characteristic was carried out in general secondary education institutions of Ukraine from 2018/2019 to 2023/2024 academic years, divided by type of settlement (urban settlements, rural areas) and by types of general secondary education institutions (primary schools, gymnasiums, lyceums). An analysis of the number of subject teachers in the 2023/2024 academic year compared to the 2018/2019 and 2021/2022 academic years was carried out.
