Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the role of a person in preserving and restoring one's mental health during the war and in post-war conditions. The author considers how changes in the habitual way of life, a person's vision of their present and future, and the chosen landscape of life-creation affect attitudes towards health. It is shown how representatives of different subcultures and people of different age groups adjust to extreme living conditions, civilians and military personnel at the front use self-preservation and self-recovery practices. For researchers, teachers, postgraduate and undergraduate students, practicing psychologists, social workers, and the general readership.
