Abstract
The war in Ukraine makes the task to preserve the personal integrity of particular importance. In this context, it is essential to explore the Ukrainian psychological approaches and modalities of psychological aid based on national mentality and values. This may also contribute to spreading the ideas about Ukrainian psychology and its achievements to the global scientific psychological community. ‘Eco-centered facilitation’ or ‘ecofacilitation’ is one of the Ukrainian modalities of psychological assistance and a non-medical psychological approach based on the traditions of humanistic psychology by C. Rogers and substantiated in the theory of personal change by P. Lushin, which is validated in formal and non-formal education and proven as effective.
