Abstract
Since the modern reform of school education, which is connected with the application of the ideas of the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, introduces an end-to-end, integrated, competently and practically oriented vector of the implementation of the content of education, the framework and child-centered nature of the structure of the educational process, this also applies to the subject of geography. The author of the article reveals her own vision regarding the requirements for a modern geography teacher, who is able to work in conditions of dynamic changes, to possess modern situational methods, especially during martial law, which are focused on forming in students an evaluative vision of the surrounding world, natural and social objects and phenomena, etc. It is these questions that the content of the article reveals.
