Abstract
In recent years, the global idea of the need for continuous education for both personal and professional development of a person is gaining more and more priority. Such a situation requires flexibility of thinking and a quick reaction of the individual in the transforming world. Thus, when considering modern education and the prospects for its development, it is important to take into account the socio-cultural features of the students of education and the possibilities of their development. Main text. It is worth noting that this study focuses on the issues of interdependence of pedagogical aspects of social development and life activities of the individual, on the one hand, and taking into account the socio-cultural features and characteristics of education seekers, on the other. The purpose of the article: to determine the main socio-pedagogical features of education of various categories of applicants of professional preliminary higher education. One of the phenomena of the formation of the contingent of applicants of professional preliminary higher education today is not only different age categories, but also the diversity of their socio-cultural characteristics and worldview foundations. The implementation of tasks by educational institutions regarding the quality training of specialists in the specified conditions includes the design of the socio-pedagogical impact of the educational environment on the professional development of the student, taking into account his socio-cultural characteristics. One of the specified tools for determining the value orientations of various categories of education seekers is the so-called "Generation Theory". The next important socio-pedagogical aspect is to consider the influence of socio-cultural traditions based on the theory of "Spiral Dynamics". The works of F. Lalu allow us to consider some paradigms of worldview foundations on the basis of which an individual, social entity or organization builds a system of life activities, cultural ideas, moral principles, and learning models. Conclusions. The analysis of the literature in the field of philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and sociology confirms that the problem of socio-pedagogical aspects of the education of students of various categories, despite its wide study by modern theorists and practitioners, requires further consideration in view of the socio-cultural features of the interaction of all participants in the educational process.
