Abstract
The article characterizes stuttering as one of the most complex neuromotor disorders. It contains several components. The neurodynamic component includes interhemispheric imbalance and dysfunction of neural connections. The neurological component can be represented by organic neuropathy, residual organic cerebral insufficiency. The motor component covers both general practical and specific speech functions. The speech component is logopsychosynergetic (we have already written about it in one of our publications) (Y. Ribtsun). The psychological component is characterized by insufficiency of mnestic operations, mental operations of self-control, probabilistic forecasting, and specific manifestations of the emotional-volitional sphere. The psychosomatic component manifests itself in gastrointestinal disorders and frequent respiratory diseases. Stuttering occurs both in the world in general and in Ukraine in particular, especially among children aged three to five years. The emergence of this disorder is negatively affected by the conditions of pandemics and military operations on the territory of our country. All of the above confirms the relevance of developing accessible methods of logopsychodiagnostics and effective speech correction of stuttering in children. Speech therapy rhythms can be an accessible and interesting means of comprehensive diagnostics for preschool children. Speech therapy rhythmics is a complex of game cognitive-speech tasks in combination with musical (song-musical), verbal and motor accompaniment. The developed complex of diagnostic logorhythmic tasks was structured – purpose, preliminary work, equipment, musical and speech material, progress, instructions. It was tested with children of senior preschool age at the speech therapy studio «Planet of the Word». Particular difficulties were recorded in children when examining the tempo-rhythmic component, respiratory, and vocal functions. Insufficiently formed phonemic representations and all types of praxis attracted attention. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the test results made it possible to outline further directions for speech therapy work with children who stutter.
