Abstract
has always been a key element in the development of every nation, and the current geopolitical, social and military challenges make its role even more complex, posing new obstacles and challenges to the education system. The educational process in Ukraine occurs under various conditions, significantly differing depending on the distance from the front line, the frequency of shelling, and air raid alerts. The realities are extremely difficult, with losses among the population, including schoolchildren; damage to educational institutions; difficult living conditions for children in some areas; a heavy psychological burden on teachers, students and parents; and a change in priorities in life plans, including educational ones. Studying in the war has significantly changed the plans of senior school pupils in choosing their life trajectory, which has affected their choice of study profile. As this issue is currently difficult to effectively study, it is important to make attempts at empirical research in this direction. This article will examine the impact of civilization challenges in wartime conditions on the educational process in Ukraine, particularly focusing on the prospects of profile education in senior school.
