Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of the attention of scientific and pedagogical workers. The definition, types, types, properties, features, and functions of attention are analyzed. The ways of its development are highlighted. It is noted that the development of attention requires constant training and will contribute to 1) increasing the concentration and effectiveness of lifelong learning; 2) successful assimilation of new knowledge; 3) timely identification and response to the needs of students; 4) establishing and maintaining a positive atmosphere of communication; 5) maintaining learning motivation; 6) work productivity.
