Abstract
In the education system of Ukraine, individualization of education has become one of the key aspects aimed at ensuring quality education and development of each student. This approach recognizes and takes into account the uniqueness of each child, his needs, interests, abilities and peculiarities. The transition from the "subject-object" to the "subject-subject" paradigm - the transformation of the student from of a passive object of pedagogical influences on an active participant in the educational process is one of the problems of modern education. The state policy regarding the individualization of education is reflected in regulatory documents that provide basic principles and guidelines for the implementation of this approach in general secondary education institutions. The Law of Ukraine "On Education" establishes the general principles of education in Ukraine, in particular the principles of individualization of education. According to this law, the educational process should be aimed at satisfaction of the needs and interests of each student, development of his abilities and personality formation. The Law of Ukraine "On Comprehensive General Education" certifies that the educational process in educational institutions is aimed at identifying and developing the abilities and gifts of an individual, his individual abilities, achieving learning outcomes, progress in development, in particular, the formation and application of relevant competencies defined by state standards. The concept of the development of general secondary education "New Ukrainian School" provides for the transition to new approaches to learning, which are based on the principles of individualization and differentiation. In particular, it emphasizes the need to create conditions for an individualized approach to each student so that everyone has the opportunity to develop according to their needs and abilities. Ensuring the right of individuals to obtain a full general secondary education in general educational institutions and the issue of organizing an individual form of education is determined by the Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine on the individual form of obtaining a full general secondary education.
