Currently, the key challenges facing the sphere of education in Ukraine are: loss of human capital, destroyed infrastructure, the need to transform the content and organization of the educational process and scientific activity, problems related to the financing of education and science. Ukraine is waging a hard ware not only for its territory, but also for national and cultural identity, freedom, and the right to self-expression. Therefore, today the role of education and science consists not only in preparing students for life and further education, but also in forming their national consciousness, cultural values, responsibility, subjectivity, and critical thinking. The modern world requires new skills and abilities from the teacher. Therefore, the professional development of teachers is an important tool in building human potential through improving the quality of education, forming key skills, stimulating the development of education seekers, preparing them for changes in society, and creating an innovative educational environment. In this context, taking into account the reform of professional pre-higher education, which is carried out in three stages during 2019-2027, the issue of professional development of teachers of professional pre-higher education institutions and the determination of the main factors that accompany it acquires special significance. The Law of Ukraine "On Vocational Higher Education" (2019) initiated important changes for the sustainable development of society: the introduction of a student-oriented approach to the organization of the educational process through the formation of an educational environment aimed at meeting the interests and needs of students on the basis of partnership and mutual respect of all participants in the educational process, providing an opportunity for each student to build an individual educational trajectory with a choice of various forms of education: dual, online, etc. Therefore, increasing the experience and effectiveness of teachers in institutions of vocational pre-higher education is an urgent problem; renewal and development of own professional skills; the opportunity to implement the latest teaching methods, the use of innovative approaches; exchange of experience to improve professional development.
