Abstract

The working program of the normative educational discipline from the cycle of disciplines of general professional training "Theory of Organization" for applicants of the second (master's) level of education of the educational and professional program "Educational Institution Management" of the field of knowledge 07 "Management and Administration" specialty 073 "Management" contains a general description, the goal, task and program material of the discipline. The purpose of teaching the educational discipline "Theory of Organization" is to prepare future specialists to master the methodological foundations of the formation of an effective organization based on modern approaches to organizational design, methods and means of information modeling of management processes and systems, modern office tools. The main tasks of studying the discipline "Theory of organization" are: based on the use of general scientific and special methods, to be able to dissect the organization into separate elements in order to identify problems and find ways to improve the efficiency of their functioning; formation of the ability to evaluate the internal and external environment of the organization from the point of view of threats and opportunities for its development; mastering the ability to identify factors that will determine the expediency of forming a certain type of organizational structure; build an organization project; training in the application of elements of matrix and project management of the organization; formation of the ability to develop a set of specific tools for creating an effective organization, taking into account its features, situational characteristics of the organization's internal and external environment. The program material of the discipline contains two substantive modules. CONTENT MODULE 1. "General theory of organization" includes topics: subject, methodology and tasks of theory of organization; general characteristics of the organization; consideration of the organization as a system and as a process; theoretical foundations of the organization as an object of management. CONTENT MODULE 2. "Building an effective organization" includes topics: organizational design; the structure of the organization as a factor of ensuring its effectiveness; organizational culture; information and analytical technologies in the organization; efficiency of the organization. The volume of the course is 120 hours, which corresponds to 4.0 ECTS credits. The form of final control is an exam.
