Abstract

The participation of teachers in research-experimental work of institutions of general secondary education is an important component of raising their professional level and can serve as one of the criteria for evaluating pedagogical skills. Research conducted on the basis of the lyceum gives reason to conclude that the teachers of the lyceum are conscious participants in research and experimental work to check the effectiveness and application of pedagogical innovations. Most of them consider participation in research activities to be a form of self-education, a means of improving the teacher's professional skills, which affects the quality of students' educational activities.
