Abstract
Visual literacy of students is an important component of modern primary education. According to the State Standard of Primary Education, students' skills of information visualization and visual content processing are cross-cutting for linguistic and literary, mathematical, as well as natural, technological, informatics, artistic, social and health education branches. The educational achievements of students in the formation/development of their visual literacy significantly depend on the level of development of teachers’ relevant skills of educational information visualization (the ability to consciously use knowledge and skills regarding the forms, methods and means of visualization for the visual presentation of educational information in professional pedagogical activities). Therefore, providing conditions for the development of visualization skills of primary school teachers is an important aspect of their professional and pedagogical training in institutions of higher pedagogical education and during advanced training courses.
