Abstract

Theses are devoted to the impact of war on community identity, which can become both a source of conflicts and a condition for the consolidation of society. The authors analyze how an external threat activates the mechanisms of group solidarity, but at the same time can increase internal differences between different social or regional groups. Theses examine the role of shared values, symbols, and narratives in shaping unity, as well as the risks of polarization arising from different interpretations of war or its aftermath. As a result, approaches to strengthening community identity as a factor of stability and national unity are proposed.
