Abstract

Scientific and pedagogical workers need to develop imagination to increase creative activity, innovativeness, flexibility, and adaptation to changes in the modern world. It helps to create new ideas, solve problems, develop effective methods of learning and scientific activity, use different sources of information and forms of knowledge presentation, understand and take into account the needs and interests of participants in the educational process, professional and interpersonal interaction, etc. Imagination allows you to create new images based on previous experience. It is an important ability that contributes to self-discovery, the development of flexible skills, and the acquisition of key and professional competencies, in particular English.
