Abstract

The article examines the relevance of the psychological and pedagogical legacy of Vasyl Oleksandrovich Sukhomlynsky for modern education, highlights the target orientations of pedagogical readings, reveals the greatness and historical significance of Vasyl Sukhomlynsky's personality, the motivation of teachers to study and implement his ideas. The article summarizes the reflections of teachers-participants in pedagogical readings held before the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding teacher, regarding the main thematic directions and prospects for the implementation of the pedagogical ideas of V.O. Sukhomlynskyi in the educational process of an out-of-school education institution.
