Abstract
The article is devoted to the formation of adolescents’ social success in the system of student government and the basic conditions for the development of adolescents’ social success in the educational environment of modern educational institution. The solution of this problem requires thorough analysis of the scientific achievements of the issue in domestic and foreign science. The main purpose of the research is to study the conceptual field of the concept of “formation of adolescents’ social success in the system of student self-government” and its clarification. The research used the following theoretical methods: analysis and synthesis of theoretical and scientific-methodological sources to develop basic approaches to the interpretation of the concept of adolescents’ social success and factors shaping the adolescents’ social success in the system of student government. The importance of involving adolescents in activities in student government, to participate in society for the formation of social success of the individual is described. It is determined that the creation of conditions for development of adolescents’ social success is facilitated by: 1) the organization of social experience, which includes participation in student government; 2) education; 3) individual assistance. The influence of student self-government on the formation of adolescents’ social success is considered. Student self-government as a means of shaping social success allows adolescents to fully acquire managerial knowledge and skills, form leadership qualities, self-realization and gain socially significant experience of coexistence in society. The conclusions clarify the concept of “formation of adolescents’ social success in the system of student self-government” and emphasize that their involvement in student self-government promotes the development of important life skills, and research confirms that the participation of adolescents in student self-government contributes to formation of adolescents’ social success.
