Abstract
The interdependence of innovative educational policy in Ukraine and the ethnoculturalaspects of updating the content of school education are explored. It is established thatthe ethnocultural component in the content of school education remains a relevantdirection of scientific research. The article presents an author's educational projectdeveloped taking into account the state tasks of innovative educational policy, thescientific-theoretical and practical achievements of Ukrainian educators, and theanalysis of educational realities in the context of the implementation of ethnoculturalprinciples in the education of school-age children based on interaction withcommunities. The author of the article emphasizes aspects of the implementation ofinnovative educational policy, including the role in determining ethnocultural trends inthe development of the content of school education, innovative approaches and moderninformation technologies, the use of interactive methods, updating curricula, courses,projects, and more. Addressing ethnocultural heritage, studying true history, observing moral and domestictraditions, knowledge of the language and art of the Ukrainian people and other ethnicgroups residing in Ukraine are the desired educational outcomes of school educationaimed at preserving and popularizing cultural diversity, fostering tolerance and mutualunderstanding in Ukrainian society as a whole. The article highlights the need to createa new educational content, including the text, action, and result, and innovativeeducational policy must support these changes, contribute to their implementation, andprovide official state documents. The author believes that contemporary schooleducation in Ukraine, even in the context of war, is committed to a peaceful life,contributes to the sustainable development of society, is based on ethnoculturalprinciples of youth education, and develops through interaction with communities and families.
