Abstract

National matriculation examination, also known as state or national exams, are part of educational systems in many countries around the world. These exams are usually held at the end of upper secondary school and are an important step for admission to higher education. Matriculation examination or matura is a matriculation exam that has its own peculiarities in each EU country.
