Abstract
The content of the program acquaints listeners with the current state of natural sciences, regulatory, legal, and educational-methodical support for teaching natural sciences / integrated courses in grades 5-6 of general secondary education institutions based on the concept of the New Ukrainian School. The program contains 5 thematic sections. 1. Organization of education in grades 5–6 In this section, the following questions will be considered: implementation of the competence potential of the science education field in accordance with the State standard of basic secondary education in the educational and methodological provision of educational subjects / integrated courses for grades 5–6; formation of the curriculum based on the model; methods of student assessment and log keeping; application of scientific and engineering methods during students' mastery of the integrated course "Natural Sciences". 2. Biological component of the integrated course The chapter is devoted to the methodology of formation of biological concepts in the course "Natural Sciences". Much attention is paid to the methodology of conducting laboratory (practical) classes in the biological direction. 3. Physical component of the integrated course The chapter is dedicated to the methodology of formation of physical concepts in the course "Natural Sciences". Much attention is paid to the methodology of research, modeling and construction. The chapter is devoted to the methodology of formation of some chemical concepts in the course "Natural Sciences". The question of organization of experimentation, modeling, implementation of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary connections is considered. 5. Geographical component of the integrated course The chapter is devoted to the consideration of geographical issues in the course "Natural Sciences". Special attention is paid to the implementation of practical and creative tasks in educational activities. After each section, independent work is provided, at the end of the study there is a final test and creative work, which consists in the development of the lesson. Distribution of hours by types of activities: 14 hours of interactive lectures; 12 hours ofpractical work; 4 hours of individual work.
