Abstract
Dedicated to ways of solving current problems of implementation of competence-oriented training. The competence-based approach is characterized as a paradigm of modern Ukrainian education, the scientific foundations of competence-oriented education are substantiated - philosophical, psychological and pedagogical. Forms, methods, means of competence-oriented learning, methodical features of a competence-oriented lesson are analyzed. A special place is given to the problem of teacher training for the implementation of competence-oriented education, in particular, the identification of psychological and pedagogical factors of the teacher's readiness to implement competence-oriented education in institutions of general secondary education. Also presented is an integrative complex system of scientific and methodological support for the formation of competencies of a competitive personality in the conditions of the innovative activity of the "New Ukrainian School", which includes the program of organization and implementation of a comprehensive empirical study of "Psychological and organizational technology of the formation of the competencies of a competitive personality in the conditions of the innovative activity of organizations. Intended for teachers of general secondary education institutions, students of postgraduate pedagogical education institutes, students of higher pedagogical education institutions. The materials are presented in the author's edition.
