Abstract

The article highlights innovative approaches to the development of the special education system in Ukraine, taking into account the Polish experience. On the basis of a systematic theoretical-methodological and historical-pedagogical analysis, the structure and results of the modern modernization of the special education system in Poland were reviewed. The author revealed the theoretical foundations, peculiarities of the introduction of the reform of special education for children with special educational needs, developed the conceptual principles of reforming the system of special education in Ukraine, taking into account the progressive experience of Poland. On the basis of the defined conceptual principles, the organizational conditions and prospects for the implementation of Poland's experience are defined in order to project the further progress and development of special education in the conditions of the modernization of education in Ukraine.
