Abstract
The use of the project method in reading lessons is designed to activate students' cognitive interests, critical thinking, and most importantly, to be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. In the scientific heritage of Oleksandra Savchenko, considerable attention is paid to the technology of organizing and conducting project activities, which were implemented in her reading textbooks for primary school. In particular, O. Savchenko emphasized different ways of organizing educational cooperation, different forms of presentation of the results of educational projects in reading lessons, which can be mono-subject and cross-subject.
