Abstract

The market for skilled workers in the labor market faces challenges and problems in the conditions of war. The military conflict in Ukraine affected the instability and peculiarities of the labor market. This article is aimed at studying the peculiarities of the formation and development of the labor market of qualified personnel during the war. It will analyze the state of the labor market before the war, the impact of the conflict on economic sectors and labor migration. Today, the war has a significant impact on the labor market of skilled workers in Ukraine. This creates a number of challenges that should be considered to solve this problem: the outflow of personnel outside the country - the conditions of the war led to a mass outflow of qualified personnel abroad, which worsens the situation in the domestic labor market; changes in the requirements of the labor market during the war - the needs of the labor market have changed due to an increased need in some areas (for example, in the field of security or medicine) and reduced demand in other sectors, which affected the availability of jobs for skilled workers; government and business strategies – government and business should develop strategies to ensure the stability and development of the labor market during wartime. This includes measures to retain personnel in the country, support and incentives for specialists, as well as adaptation of educational programs to new market needs; socio-economic consequences – it is also important to consider the socio-economic consequences of war on society, which may affect the motivation and availability of labor at critical times. The study of precisely these aspects helped to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of the labor market of qualified workers in the conditions of war and to develop strategies for maintaining the stability and development of the labor market in such a difficult period for the country.
