Abstract

An analysis of educational legislation was carried out as a basis for the development and revision of educational programs in subject specialty 014.03 Secondary education (History). Emphasis is placed on the need to take into account the provisions of such acts as: Standards and recommendations for ensuring the quality of higher education in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-2015), Law of Ukraine «On Higher Education», National Framework of Qualifications, Professional Standard for the profession «teacher», etc. The expediency of combining the subject specialty History with the specializations Legal Studies and/or Civic Education is indicated.
