Abstract
The article deals with the content of the teacher’s studies «Educating Humanity of Primary School Students» which have the following tasks: to expand the teachers’ understanding of the essence and structure of humanity of primary school students; to consider the peculiarities of educating humanity of primary school students; to familiarize teachers with diagnostics of levels of humane education of primary school students; to deepen the teachers’ knowledge about forms and methods of educating humanity of primary school students; to promote the development of the ability to build relationships with primary school students on a humanistic base; to support the development of humane qualities of primary school teachers. Theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis of scientific sources on the research problem, comparison, generalization, and classification were used to develop teacher’s studies “Educating Humanity of Primary School Students” for primary school teachers. During the teachers’ studies “Educating Humanity of Primary School Students», there were lectures («Humanization of the educational process in the history of pedagogical thought”, “The problem of education of humanity in modern pedagogical science”, “Forms and methods of education of humanity of primary school students”), seminars-workshops (“Humanity as a teacher’s professional quality”, “Pedagogical and didactic communication”, “Diagnostics of the levels of humane education of primary school students”), pedagogical workshop “Educating humanity of primary school students”, and round table “Peculiarities of educating humanity of primary school students”. The conducted research does not cover all aspects of the multifaceted problem of training primary school teachers for educating humanity of primary school students. Future studies should be devoted to the following aspects: educating humanity of primary school students in extracurricular activities; involving primary school students in various types of charitable activities aimed at revealing humanity; educating humanity of other age groups of students (younger teenagers, senior teenagers); increasing the effectiveness of postgraduate education of teaching staff on this issue.
